I thought you ought to know the dreadful (or brilliant) news about the head of Doctor Who, the man who brought it back to British Tv....

He's leaving the show.

And, let's now make it even more obvious

Well, didn't see that coming. I thought he loved the show, but there you go. Betrayal. Mind you, the Doctor Who executives are dropping like flies. Phil Collins is in Manchester, Julie Gardner is now head of some other BBC thing, and now RTD. Well, who wants the ultra good news?

I'm pleased who the new head writer of Doctor Who is. This person spooked us out into watching inanimate statues, and gave us the immortal catchphrase "Are you my mummy?," securing more BAFTAS than anyone else we can think of on Doctor Who. He is also one of the two writers who have written for all four series so far, as well as contributing to the Children in Need specials by writing "Time Crash." Please welcome,

Doctor Who's new head writer - Mr Steven Moffat!!!

Sorry for going a bit overboard on this BTW :-o
